About Our Paediatric First Aid FAA Level 3 - 2 day Course

A Level 3 First Aid course designed for those who have an interest in child and baby Basic Life Support governed by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or OFSTED. This course covers life-threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding control and choking.

What Are The Benefits?

This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care. The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations. The course is 12 hours over 2 days, there is the option of the first day to be done virtually as it covers the theory element. The course meets the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS as issued by the Department for Education and Skills Foundation Stage relating to Early Years childcare.
